Bob Mason (29 July 1951 – 21 September 2004) was a British actor, born in Rochdale, Lancashire, who played Terry Bradshaw in ''Coronation Street'' and Sergeant Eddie Slater in ''The Lakes''.〔(The New York Times )〕 Mason also appeared in ''The Bill'', ''Felicia's Journey'',〔 ''Doctors'', ''Casualty'', ''Where the Heart Is'', ''Black Box'', ''The Missing Postman'', ''Between the Lines'', ''Juliet Bravo'', ''Peak Practice'', ''Clocking Off'', ''Teachers'',〔 ''Cutting It'', and ''Dalziel and Pascoe''. He also worked as a writer penning scripts of Coronation Street in 1986 - quite notably making him the first regular member of the cast to write for the programme.
